The café bar is located within the well respected Stanneylands Hotel in an airy conservatory featuring contemporary decor. Dominating the room is the baby grand piano standing proudly in the centre, where guests can enjoy live music whilst they drink and dine in style, looking out to the gardens beyond.
Food at Calico cafe bar is designed to delight the taste buds with a menu available throughout the day. Lunch takes a distinctively British flavour with delectable twists on classic sandwich favourites. A delightful dinner or long lunch could include a poached chicken breast, macaroni, artichoke hearts and rocket with aioli salad, or possibly one of the other European inspired dishes like the mouth watering tagliatelle with seared scallops, chorizo, radicchio and diced tomato with basil pesto.
