This week Matfen Hall Hotel has made a very special appointment, specifically for their Brides and Grooms. This is the appointment of Ron Wood, as their professional ceremonial Toastmaster.
Dressed in his bright red tail coat, Ron is guaranteed to add a real sense of sophistication and style to any marriage ceremony. The presence of a liveried Toastmaster is a great British tradition and Matfen Hall is the only wedding venue in Northumberland to offer this service.
Immaculately turned out in his ceremonial attire Ron is an expert on wedding etiquette and protocol. His role is to act as the mentor for the bridal party ensuring that they are fully aware of what is happening when and where and that their requirements and wishes are met. This service priced at £350 includes:-
- A pre wedding telephone briefing
- Meeting and greeting the Bride and Groom and their guests
- Coordinating the formalities of the bridal party whereby providing a calming influence
- Introducing the guests to their hosts at the start of the receiving line
- Announcing the wedding breakfast, speeches, toasts
- Organising the cake cutting
